3 Days gorilla (3 days/2 nights)

Day 1: Kampala/Bwindi

Morning departure for the south with stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview Hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland." Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 2: Day of Gorillas

Briefing by park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain Gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest camp or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 3: Kampala/Nairobi

Transfer to Mbarara for lunch. Later depart for Kampala and transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled flight to Nairobi.

Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 days/2 nights)

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures or shop for souvenirs. After lunch at the Lake view Hotel in Mbarara, head for the East African Rift valley before arriving in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early morning cup of tea at 6:30am, depart for a game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action. Later, return for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Kampala. End of services.

Bwindi Gorillas (5 days/4 nights)

Day 1: Kampala/Bwindi
Depart Kampala in the morning driving south with stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the "Little Switzerland". Arrive Bwindi late afternoon/early evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 2: Day 1 of Gorillas
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start a 30 minutes - 8 hours trek to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to Gorilla Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Day 2 of Gorillas
With picnic lunch, take a second chance tracking the gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp

Day 4: Bwindi/Lake Mburo
Transfer to Mbarara for lunch before heading into the Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon game viewing. Game in the park includes Zebra, Impala, Eland, Topi, Hippo and a variety of woodland bird species. Dinner and overnight at Mantana Mburo Tented Camp, situated on a small hill overlooking the lake.

Day 5: Lake Mburo/Kampala
Another morning game drive in the park until lunch time. Depart after lunch for Kampala. End of services.

Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi (5 days/4 nights)

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you will stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures. Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi (5 days/4 nights)

Day 1: Kampala/Mbarara
Depart Kampala and drive to Mbarara on a good tarmac road. Along the way, stop at the Equator, Local Drum makers and take pictures of the Ankole Long Horned Cattle. Dinner and overnight at Regency Lakeview Hotel Mbarara.

Day 2: Mbarara/Bwindi
After an early breakfast depart for the Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi arriving in time for lunch at the tracking base. In the afternoon, take a self guided walk around the camp along the Munyaga River before returning for sunset views across the Bwindi Forest. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Day 3: Day of Gorillas
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the base of the mountain for a briefing before starting the gorilla trek, taking between 30 minutes - 8 hours to find the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the area where the gorillas were the previous day. After a full hour with the gorillas, return to Gorilla Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi/Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast at Leisure, before departing for Lake Bunyonyi believed to be one of the deepest crater lakes in Africa. In the afternoon, take a canoe ride or do some Cray fishing around the evergreen islands. Meals and overnight at Nature's Prime Island.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi/Kampala
After breakfast depart for Kampala for lunch at the Gallery Cafe. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight. End of services.

Best of Uganda Gorilla Safari (8 days/7 nights)

Day 1: Kampala/Murchison Falls
Depart Kampala in the morning and drive to Murchison falls National Park. Transfer to the magnificent Top of the Falls where you will enjoy your picnic lunch as you marvel at the mighty Nile being forced into a seven Metre crevice to thunder 45 metres below in a series of cascades. The Nile can be viewed at different points up to the Baker's Summit. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge. Elevated high above the Falls on the north side of the river, the lodge enjoys astounding views.

Day 2: Murchison Falls
Start your game viewing after an early breakfast. Escorted by a game ranger, you may opt for a game walk while trailing animals and studying animal spoors. Game in this area include Giraffe, Elephant, Harte beest, Lion, Uganda Kob, Oribi and a variety of savannah and woodland birds. After lunch, take a Nile Cruise for game viewing at close quarters. This is a paradise of the Hippo and Crocodiles . Meals and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Murchison Falls/Kibale Forest
Breakfast early, then transfer to Kibale forest with picnic lunches arriving for an evening Nocturnal Primate walk in search of Galagos and Pottos. This is done using strong flashlights that attract the shy lesser primates of the night. Overnight at Ndali Lodge.

Day 4: Kibale Forest/Queen Elizabeth Nat. park
Morning chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. On the walk, you may see Black and white colobus monkey, Red tailed monkey, Baboon, Grey cheeked mangabeys or the chimpanzee. After lunch, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. through the East African Rift valley arriving for a sun set game drive, before a transfer to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Mt Elgon Climb (7 days/6 nights)
ESSU 052

Day 1: Kampala
Meet and greet at the airport and travel to Kampala. In the afternoon, take a sight seeing tour of Kampala. Visit the Uganda Martyrs shrine, Kasubi Kings' Tombs, the Cathedrals of Rubaga and Namirembe. Later, transfer to Hotel Africana for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Kampala/Sipi Camp
After breakfast, travel to the Mount Elgon base and enjoy lunch at the Sipi Falls Rest Camp. In the afternoon , take an evening hike to the Sipi Falls. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sipi Camp/Piswa Camp
Early morning breakfast, then start hike following the Kapkwata Trail head. A scenic hike through the bamboo, heath and moor land gets you to the Piswa Camp 2850m.

Day 4: Piswa Camp/Hunters Cave
Hike up to the rim of the Caldera through beautiful columns of Lobelia Elgonensis visiting the Hot springs and the Suam gorge before descending to the Hunters Cave Camp.3870m for overnight.

Day 5: Hunters Cave/Mude Camp
Morning breakfast, then ascend to the top of the Caldera moving to the Wagagai Peak 4321. Descend thereafter through the Jackson's Summit and the Jackson's pool to overnight at the Mude Camp 3500m.

Day 6: Mude Camp/Kampala
Early morning, descend through the Sasa trail to Budadiri then travel to Mbale and proceed to Kampala for overnight at Hotel Africana.

Day 7: Kampala/Out
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for onward flight. End of services.
